«Israeli» Minister Infringes Palestinian Heritage in Festival Dress
Local Editor
The most recent form of transgression on Palestinian heritage is a dress!
The “Israeli” entity’s so-called “Culture Minister” Miri Regev attended an event at the Cannes film festival in a designer dress dong the skyline of the Old City of al-Quds [Jerusalem], Western Wall and al-Aqsa mosque included.
The dress drew both political and satirical responses.
One 1948 Palestinian citizen posted an image of Regev's dress with the occupied West Bank separation barrier, highlighting the plight of Palestinians.
Others took a more humorous approach, superimposing the famous alien invasion from the film Independence Day on al-Quds.
Meanwhile, the dress had been used to point out the clashes between Palestinians and “Israeli” forces.
Others used the dress as a canvas to remind “Israelis” about the ever present threat of a war in Gaza.
Even Netanyahu got pulled into the fray!
Others just used the format to promote themselves.
